What this site is

This is a static content site. It has no user accounts, no logins, no comment forms and no newsletter signup. It collects no programme data, no beneficiary data and no survey responses. You can read every page without telling us who you are.

If you arrived here from the Monival product at monival.com: the data your organisation holds in that product is governed by the Monival product’s own privacy terms, not by this page. This policy covers only your visit to this reference site.

What is actually collected

• Server access logs. Like almost every website, our web server records each request: the IP address it came from, the user agent (browser and operating system string), the page requested and a timestamp. We keep these logs for security monitoring and operations — spotting abuse, diagnosing faults — and for no other purpose. They are not used to profile visitors.
• CDN / edge provider. The site is served through a content delivery network, which processes the same request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) in order to deliver pages and block malicious traffic. That processing happens on our instruction, under the provider’s own security terms.

That is the complete list. This site sets no cookies and runs no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.

If that ever changes: should analytics or any other tracking be added to this site, this policy will be revised first and a consent mechanism put in place before anything is switched on. Until this page says otherwise, there is no tracking to consent to.

The law that applies

Sibasi Ltd processes visitor data under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019, the primary regime for this site. If you visit from the EU or EEA, the GDPR may also apply to you; the rights it gives you are substantially mirrored below, and we honour them on the same footing.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act you may ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to or restrict its processing. Given what this site collects, in practice that means access-log entries tied to your IP address. To exercise any of these rights, or to ask how something is handled, contact [email protected]. The corporate policy explains the routes available and the timeframes we work to. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya.
